MBA Program Governance

The Institute

All MIT Sloan School students, faculty, and administrative staff are responsible for adhering to the policies and procedures of both MIT and the MIT Sloan School. The principles and policies applicable to all MIT students are summarized in the Mind and Hand Book. The policies and procedures of particular relevance to graduate students are presented in the MIT Graduate Policies and Procedures, which is prepared by the Office of Graduate Education (OGE).

It is important to become familiar with these principles and policies, which apply to all students enrolled at the Institute; the fact that they may not be specifically mentioned — or may be worded differently — in this Handbook does not exempt students from being governed by them.

The MIT Sloan School

The MBA Program is overseen by the Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Master’s Programs of the MIT Sloan School; the Program is managed by the Assistant Dean, MBA & MSMS Programs, who reports to the Senior Associate Dean. Significant changes to the MBA Program are authorized by the MBA Program Committee, which includes student representation from the MIT Sloan Senate.
